‘Young Gun’ Joo-hyung Kim faces PGA Tour ‘King of Kings’ Jordan Spieth

Kim Joo-hyung, who has emerged as a notable player this year with two wins on the PGA Tour, will play against Jordan Spieth in his first tournament in 2023.

The PGA Tour Sentry Tournament of Champions will be held at the Kapalua Plantation Course (par 73) in Maui, Hawaii, USA for four days from the 6th (Korean time). This competition was founded in 1953. Originally, it is well known as the ‘Wangjungwangjeon’, in which only the winners of the previous year participate. Recently, the top rankers of the FedEx Cup from the previous season were also allowed to participate.

According to the 1st round grouping announced on the 4th, Kim Joo-hyung will start the tournament at 7:25 am on the 6th in the same group as Spieth, who has a total of 13 wins on the PGA Tour.
