Miami Butler fined $33 million for refusing official interview…violating NBA office rules
National Basketball Association (NBA) Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has been fined for failing to grant official media interviews.
ESPN reported on Thursday (Nov. 24) that the NBA office fined Butler $25,000 (about 33 million won) for violating the league’s interview policy.
The NBA added that Butler did not make himself available for an official media interview following the Heat’s 128-102 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the 2022-2023 NBA Eastern Conference Finals (best-of-seven) at the Casilla Center in Miami, Florida, on April 22.
The win gave eighth-seeded Miami a three-game lead over Boston and a chance to advance to the championship game.토토사이트
Butler’s performance as the team’s “ace” was somewhat disappointing, however, as he finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Miami allowed Boston to mount a comeback in Game 4 on Nov. 24, losing 99-116 to even the series at three games apiece.
