‘Hwang In-soo vs Myung Hyeon-man’ Road FC’s first competition in 2023, held at Goyang Gymnasium on the 25th
Road FC’s first move in 2023 unfolds.
Road FC will hold the ‘Goobne Road FC 063’ competition at the Goyang Gymnasium on the 25th. The main event of this tournament is a kickboxing match between Hwang In-soo (29, FREE), former ‘Road FC middleweight champion’, and Myung Hyeon-man (38, Myeong-hyeonman multi-gym), the ‘strongest standing player’.
After a long battle of words, the two fighters finally meet on the cage. The starting point of this confrontation was in March of last year. At the press conference for Road FC’s fighting program ‘Real Fight’, Hwang In-soo said, “Whether it’s boxing or standing, I’m confident. He doesn’t even have to match his weight class. If he signs a contract with Road FC, he can join right away,” he said, provoking only Myunghyun. In response, only Myeong-hyeon expressed his intention to fight, and in the end, a confrontation between the two fighters was concluded.
The co-main event is a Korea-Japan match related to the Road FC Global Quarterfinal Tournament starting this year. Yang Ji-yong (26, Jeju Team The King), who is on a six-game winning streak, will face Koki Hirasawa (25, FREE) of Japan. If Jiyong Yang wins, he will receive a seed for the ¤63kg bantamweight tournament.
There is also a showdown between former soccer player Bae Dong-hyeon (38, Team Finish) and Japan’s Sekino Taisei (23, FREE). The two fighters also provoked each other through interviews before the match. 메이저놀이터
Bae Dong-hyeon said, “There is a saying that you can’t lose even at rock-paper-scissors in the Korea-Japan match. Trying to finish in round 1. I will clearly show why Road FC is strong.” In response, Sekino also said, “The opponent is also tough, so I think it will be a tough match, but I will knock the opponent down with a blow I am good at. I will take over the Korean heavyweight division as well.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-won (36, Team Strongwolf), a ‘police officer fighter’ working at Songpa Police Station in Seoul, will also participate in this competition. He faces Shin Ye-wi Jeong-won (19, Namyangju team finish). Attention is focusing on whether it can prove the toughness of Korean police officers.
‘Goobne Road FC 063’ is divided into part 1 and part 2 and starts on the 25th at 4pm and 6pm respectively. Live TV will be broadcast on Spotify, and live online will be broadcast on Daum Sports, Kakao TV, and Afreeca TV.
